List 3 Non-yoga/Pilates facts about yourself:

  1. Completely obsessed with all foods containing avocado, especially guacamole.
  2. I figured skated for almost 14 years (grew up in Canada so that makes sense!)
  3. I am a Registered Dietitian with 2 degrees and have my own food blog. Shameless plug here: www.
  4. I LOVE cheesy food jokes. (What did the sushi say to the bee? Wasssaaabbbeee??) These kinda jokes are the way to my heart!



How long have you been teaching? What made you start?

It all started 5 years ago, when I was beyond stressed at work and started getting migraines, skin rashes, and was just plain unhappy. I went for a teacher training in Thailand (not knowing I would teach), and I have been teaching ever since.


What do you teach?

Nothing makes me happier than a good old Vinyasa Flow. I can also teach Hatha Flow, Pre and post Natal yoga, and Ashtanga.

What can someone expect in your class?

Jokes and possibly a cheesy quote at the end of the class (depends on the day)! You can also, expect sweat. I love to challenge people, and make them go places they never thought they could. Yes, you can.


What is your favourite thing to do besides work at Piloga?

I love to experiment in the kitchen with new recipes. It’s one of the few activities besides yoga that clear my mind. Oh, and I am also an awesome rock climber (always looking for climbing buddies!)


Sweet or Salty?

100% sweet. Chocolate and ice cream can be used against me if you need something. Ahah
