CLASS STYLES & DESCRIPTIONS

For the first time in Dubai, Piloga introduces Fletcher Pilates®, offering Fletcher Pilates® Matwork and Fletcher Reformer COREtets.

Mat Classes

Group Mat classes are recommended for those who like the social aspect of a class environment and who can commit to a scheduled time each week.  All classes are 60 minutes duration. Mat classes use both the Pilates mat, as well as small apparatus –  rings and foam rollers – to support and challenge you.

 

Pilates Mat: Fletcher Pilates® Matwork is based on correct alignment, balance and precise initiation and spinal articulation – foundational concepts and principles of the Pilates method. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the Pilates Matwork through an in-depth focus on the Fletcher Fundamentals™ and Percussive Breath™ . Great full body workout with special attention to the abs.

HIIT: Let’s go back to basics with some straight up aerobics! You heart rate won’t stop beating during this fun and energetic class! Jumping, lunging, squatting, running and more! We are bringing you the simple old school aerobic moves to burn off unwanted calories.  Note: Running shoes are required for this class.

Cardio -Pilates: Our cardio-pilates class is a mixture of fat burning cardio mixed with all healthy benefits of classic pilates exercises optimal posture, activation of the core and shaped muscles are a guarantee! Ready to look too hot to handle?

Lunchbreak Pilates: A 45 minute session, designed to heat your body up, engage the core and get back to work, really ready to take on the day!

Pre-Natal Pilates: A class specially designed for Piloga’s mums to be focusing on preparing the body for birth and relieve the discomforts of pregnancy. 


Reformer Classes

Reformer classes use the Ron Fletcher Reformer to deliver a high energy workout that offers resistance and support taking your body to the next level. The classes are performed in small groups of 4, called COREtets, to allow for more focused instructor participant interaction.  Each participant has their own reformer.

 

Reformer Prep: This is an introductory class for those new to reformer classes, which are conducted on the traditional Pilates reformer using spring-loaded resistance. This class is a pre-requisite to the Reformer COREtetclass, if you have not used the reformer previously.

Athletic Reformer (Level 2&3): Designed to make you sweat, tone, and burn, the athletic reformer class is specific for individuals who are familiar with the reformer equipment and want to take their workout up a notch! Along with the reformer machine, this class uses exercise bands, weights, and Pilates circles. Enjoy the burn! (Please note that this is an advanced class and prior experience with Reformer is required).

Pilates Reformer (Level 1): In small groups of 4, students receive personalized attention while being lead through a workout designed to challenge endurance, flexibility and overall strength. This class is designed to work the deepest abdominal muscles while sculpting your legs, butt, arms and back significantly. Reformer classes have proven extremely popular and fill up well in advance, so contact the studio to reserve your space early on.  This group class is conducted on the Reformer as well as the Ped-i-Pul in order to create the most comprehensive Pilates workout. Reservations are required.  Reformer Prep is a pre-requsite.
